Story/History:
- From the sands of the Eastern Desert rises the Great Pyramid. Once the focal point of a great nation, it now stands alone, that nation having been swallowed by the desert sands long before history was recorded--even before the great city of Thalos was built. Now, the pyramid is home to many fabled creatures. Here walk the stuff of legends--mummies and sphinxes, crypt robbers and raiders. The brave adventurers who have chanced the dangers of the pyramid to win great riches speak in hushed tones of a great mummified lord ruling from deep within the burial chambers of the pyramid.

General Zone Strategies:
- There are four main farming runs in the Great Pyramid: the Medallion of Akinra, the Sandy Coloured Rings/ Sphinxian Leggings, the Mask of Ramses / Ring of Renewal and the hot ball of fire farming runs.
- If you're running straight SAC, grab the hot ball of fire from the Efreet down the entrance ladder and immediate into the west chamber at the base of the ladder. He's aggro!
- If you're interested in the neutral Mask of Ramses, continue left from the Efreet's Chamber along the northern passage and around to the west, T, picking up the scarab from the ground in the northwest gallery and bring it to the locked door in the western gallery. Descend several levels to the dais. Ramses awaits.

- Do this part of the area quest last, as this is a one way adventure and there is no return from the Djinn's Chamber besides recall or summon out.
- The Great Sphinx (sandy-coloured ring) can be found 2s*e*n*s*w*2s from the Sandstone Crypt. The Sphnx is not aggressive, but will entropy, pzars and has memory. so C/A PFA, jedi BRAIN IMPLOSION, C/B PETRIFY or STRIKE it down.
- The answer unlocks a hidden room south of the Sphinx containing a treasure horde and a pair of sphinxian leggings. Junk the answer when running sandy-coloured rings as it will block load. Junk the golden sphinx and the blazing sun wand as they block the leggings load. Watch for a variety of roaming sphinxian guards.
- Beware of the DT in the Sand Storm maze near the Sphinx
