Story/History:
Once splendid and proud, ruling the Eastern Desert from deep within a mountain, the ancient Kingdom of Rhyoden is now a ghost of its former self. Quite literally, a ghost, as all its inhabitants are now rumored to be held in a spectral state, awaiting a return to its former glory. What little information is known about the ancient kingdom speaks of its great champion as still alive deep within the stronghold, and a master mage attempting to restore its inhabitants to life. Even adventurers of tremendous strength and repute have met their doom here...
Below the City of the Dead, the mines of Golgar are still worked by the thrall troglodytes driven by their shaman masters in worship of the Ancient Demon Golgar.

General Zone Strategies:
Run to the Golgar Statue, avoiding the many aggro! Trog Clansmen. (The clansmen can be calmed.) There are over twenty of them in the room west of Golgar. Golgar quad hits and is !phys (physical damage resist), but a cleric debuff (blind) and a disarming tank will take him down.
The sticky spider web located in the Spider Cave, (marked on the hand-drawn cave map below), features a web containing two corpses. The elven corpse contains the Boots of Sneaking (+2 dex footwear !rests).
