Definition:
- Players gain immortality via the sacrifice command. Before a player can sacrifice, they must have the maximum mortal experience for their class.
- To sacrifice, type
> sacrifice A light from the heavens surrounds Greef and intensifies until you can no longer see him. When the light fades, he is no longer here.
- When a player sacrifices, the game will count the number of affects on their equipment and if the net total is above a certain level, then they may immort. These affects are often called pluses. In addition to stat affects, (STR, INT, WIS, DEX, CON, CHA, HITROLL, HIT, DAM, MANA, and MOV), regenerative items count as 10% of their value. For example, the 20% hpR blue longsword from Asmodeus would count as two pluses. Some of the items you sacrifice must carry the 'limited' flag.
- The amount of equipment a player must sacrifice is determined by the number of times they have immorted in the past. For a first time immortal, the cost is 150 points. For a second time immortal, the cost is 300 points. For a third time immortal, the cost is 450 points. For any times beyond three, the cost is 600 points.
- It also costs 1 million gold pieces to sacrifice, regardless of the number of previous remorts.
- When a player sacrifices, everything in their inventory and every bit of gold they have on hand or in the bank *will* be sacrificed.
- DO NOT SACRIFICE WITH EQUIPMENT YOU WISH TO KEEP!
- THERE ARE NO REIMBURSEMENTS FOR INADVERTENT SACRIFICING!
- Players may check and see how close they are to immortaldom with the
sacrifice check
- option.
