The rare female bard.

Why Regen Gear?

If you run a debuffing Bard in your duo-multiplay JediMud strategy, then a regen Bard (short for mana regeneration) will serve you well as you farm for equipment throughout the realm.
Because the Bardic spells Slow, Hopelessness, Rage, Inspire, Fly and Blur require a good deal of mana, it's a good idea to configure your Bard as a regen caster as opposed to a tank.
A regen, low AC Bard also works well in a Bard/Charmie scenario, a strategy that demands that the Bard charm certain charmable bosses (not all bosses are charmable) in order to get them to serve as tanks / hitters while he or she farms the JediMUD.

Duo-Multi Farming Strategies

Most of this equipment is duo-multi farmable with a few exceptions.  Having a M30, B30, R30 and C30 for duo-multi gate-walk style farming is essential in the post-eq-group JediMUD world.

Cleric/Tank (Debuffs)

Here's a basic cleric (healer) / warrior (tank) approach using buffs/debuffs:
Your C30 / tank scout team locates the item/mob and the cleric recalls.  While your tank holds down the mob room, your M30 (or any gating mage) sets up a gate to the mob.  Walk out the tank and begin walking in the debuff squad:  B30 for slowx2 / hopelessness / rage, R30 for fumblex2, and then finish up with walking the cleric back and add M30 web and curse.  M30 rents and cleric summons the tank.  Cleric (aid, bless, stone, armor) and Bardic (inspire, blur) buffs will help the tank's chance vs. the more frightening bosses.
Blind the mob, glow and go.
Basic right?

Charmies

Bards with high CHA can charm those bosses that do not have an !charm flag.  Using the Vault Protector as a tank, with a pipe-hitting squad of Sergeants from Rhyoden can be a formidable charmie group.
Make sure you provide your charmies with boats so they can travel across water.
Charmies will lose charm and wander over time, so be sure to refresh your charm before they charm timer expires.

Summoned Demons/Pets

This Ranger/Cleric strategy involves summoning a storm of pets/summonables (spam) and then throwing them at your target in waves.  Summon tier three pets/demons with more HP to withstand the early rounds of your spam attack while you create waves of lighter, less mana-expensive tier one pets.  Continue to send light waves into the melee until your target is down.

Good-Aligned Bard (Level 30) Regen Gear

This list is constantly modified to reflect new items introduced into the game.

This eq set offers a modest 130 regen rate including an age bonus for a  709 yr old char.  No artifacts, no quest items, no Doom items.  All equipment here is duo-runnable with a supporting set of buffing/debuffing characters.

You may note that this particular Bard is wearing some +INT / +CHA equipment in order to take advantage of 18+ CHA bonuses applied to song duration and mana regen %.

Your results my vary, of course, but this should provide a fair guide to start with.
