BAN UNBAN

These commands prevent anyone from a site with a hostname
containing the site substring from logging in to the game. You may
ban a site to ALL, NEW or SELECT players. Banning a site to NEW
players prevents any new players from registering. Banning a site to
ALL players disallows ANY connections from that site. Banning a site
SELECTively allows only players with SITE_OK flags to log in from
that site. Ban with no argument returns a list of currently banned
sites.

You may also "screen ban" a site. This is similar to a NEW ban, but
instead of banning new players outright, it displays a message to all
AVTR+ online informing them that a new player wishes to be
accepted. The AVTR+ may then decide whether or not to allow that
player to join. This is useful to prevent problem users using offensive
names and the like while still allowing legitimate newbies to enter
the game, but is not an ideal long-term solution since an AVTR+ needs
to be present and able to respond promptly to requests for acceptance.

Unban removes the ban.

ban [<'ALL' | 'NEW' | 'SELECT' | 'SCREEN'> <site>]
unban <site>

> ban new ai.mit.edu
> unban ai.mit.edu

Note: it is helpful to use numeric address whenever possible.
All bans must be posted to the ban board (obj. 6918) as soon as possible
after they are placed, or they may be removed. Your post should include
the reason for banning the site and, if it's temporary, how long it
should last.
