Aerial Servant Strategy in Combat:

Summoning pets to assist with combat was a key strategy in the solo play days. Ungrouped clerical pets were used to tank for a cleric and would be ordered to flee as the target mob was near defeat for full experience capture as grouped pets will divide kill experience. Also, if the cleric groups the summoned pets pre melee, the mob will quickly target the cleric, preventing non-melee re-casts like sanctuary.

If you glow one of your pets as a tank, keep in mind that the last pet summoned will be the last pet addressable in the pet stack.

For example, a cleric summons three aerial servants: 1.aerial is the first pet summoned and will assume the tank position in melee. If you prefer to group your pets and engage the target mob, you can reassign pets to the tank position between combat melees as they become injured using the "gorder tank x.aerial" command.

To assign a newly summoned aerial to the tank position, using the previous example:

> gorder tank 4.aerial

Ditching Your Pets:

To abandon your pets after use, issue the following command:

(if grouped already, skip the next step)

>group all

The aerial servant is now a member of the group.

>or fol fol

The aerial servant hates your guts!
