THERMONUCLEAR HOLOCAUST Level: M30 Cost: 150 mana Target: one room When: non-combat Delay: one combat round Duration: instantaneous Effect: Thermonuclear holocaust inflicts massive amounts of nuclear damage to every ungrouped monster in the room. It is the most powerful offensive magic available, even to immortals, but by its very nature it is extremely dangerous for both the caster and his or her companions. This spell automatically uses any mana beyond the initial 150 to create a shield. If the shield collapses, the caster (and any party members) suffer. There is a chance of permanent death from any instance where a shield collapses.
