Re: What Keeps your Perfect Char in CryoApr 27, 2004 at 2:02am   QuoteEdit Post by Dank on Apr 27, 2004 at 2:02am i have three characters, and evidently, the respect of farbekrieg. throw in the occasional sapphire shield, or a purple potion, a trip to my favorite AVTR's room, a fountain when i'm thirsty, a shower when i'm tired, and a cup of black coffee with an egg, sunny side up. add an evening cigarette after it's been raining. black and white pictures of your parents when they were still young. or barbequed chicken. a sleeping child. career success. perfect characters aside, we can always hope that the world will offer up a little perfection. the game takes us places when the world fails us. like a good piece of non-fiction or a bad horror film. like a shakespeare quarto or a ruffini zone, we find ourselves immersed in the poetry of the commonplace, the sublime. the game mimics life and vice versa. so if someone finds the face of god in a cleric remorted 30 times, then so be it. if someone keeps 100 characters in the deep freeze, then so be it. if someone keeps to the shire for ten years, runs the thain endlessly, then so be it. there's plenty of room in paradise.
