Welp, after hitting countless death traps and rage quitting pretty much after each one, the admin began offering death trap insurance for individual objects at 200K per object. This means that when you hit Jaws again, those items that are covered by DT insurance will remain in your inventory when you re-log from the main menu. This is automagic. You'll have to re-insure those items that were recently stripped of their protection, but finally, we have a buffer against the ravages of the mortal world.

If you hit a "Death Trap", you will die and lose all your equipment. With Insurance, you can insure your object at the cost of 200,000 per object. (If you have the "Get out of DT card", the card will protect you first before insurance is even checked.) You can purchase insurance so long as the object is on your person and NOT inside any container or worn in equipment. A new advanced insurance is now available, called Crash Insurance.
