GRAPPLE Level: R9, W12 Cost: 15 mv Target: any one player or mob When: combat Delay: three combat rounds Duration: several rounds Effect: This skill allows the user to tie up an enemy for several rounds of combat while his friends continue to hit it. Both the user and the target monster will be unable to attack for two rounds of combat after a successful grapple. Grapple will stop active mob procedures from firing. However, it will not stop passive procedures, such as reduce physical, and it does not prevent mobs from fleeing. Strategy: Using at least two grapplers, a group can stop boss mob DEFENDER_PROCS from firing (like entropy), allowing for relative ease of farming runs. To employ this strategy, the first grappler starts melee with a bash. The next grappler, rescues the first, and grapples the target boss mob. After two rounds, the first grappler grapples, and so on, each grappler exchanging grapples every two rounds.
