Now, after many adventures, time finds them here, not a hundred feet from where the adventure first began. Over the years, their exploits have taken them far and wide, to the ends of the world. The riches have been untold...the power gained, unimaginable.
From the beginning, their paths took different directions, although they always remained close allies. While Jorak devoted his life to the arts of the battle-mage, Pablo mastered the holy art of healing. Each became a living legend; being some of the most prolific DOOM runners, being very successful in questing, and always willing to help a friend. Their battle prowess was legendary, and it was even rumored that Jorak had such skill that he was able to hit into the second level of capital letters in spite of the presence of the sanctuary spell. For any mortal, this is a great feat; for a mage, it is godly. Having accomplished all that one man could be capable of doing, Jorak settled down in his hometown of New Thalos to a life of privilege and women.
For Pablo the quest continued. He was intrigued by the killer wicked sweet power of his brother, the ability to tear matter asunder with a single word. He realized that to wield that kind of Power, he could be no servant. His devotion to his God was holding him back from ultimate power, so he broke free from his faith, casting aside his power to heal, to train under the expert guidance of his brother.
